

Recycled Crayon Donation
As a summer project, Jenn Kellner and her children Lawson (age 11) and Ava Mae (age 6) collected used crayons which they melted down and poured into interesting shaped molds. They then created coloring pages. And, finally packaged the crayons and coloring sheets together and presented Our Daily Bread with a donations at two separate times this summer. Our young guests have been so excited to receive these packets while they are at the soup kitchen to enjoy a meal. Thank yo


Coloring Books for our Young Guests
Thanks so much to the Southern New Castle Rotary Club for the donation of coloring books and crayons to keep our young guests entertained while they share a meal with us.

Our Daily Bread at the Volunteer Resource Fair
On Saturday, October 12th, representatives from Our Daily Bread participated in the Volunteer Brewing Company's Volunteer Resource Fair. Betsy, Mikayla, and Caitlin set up an information table to promote the soup kitchen. Event hosts estimate that 230 folks attended the event and were interested in learning about volunteer opportunities in the Middletown area.
