

Tis the Season...For Food Drives:
This year ODB has been lucky to be the recipient of numerous food drives and collections from individuals, groups, businesses, communities and organizations throughout the community. We are grateful for all the help and support we have received. Last week ODB served its 35,000th meal of 2022 so all this generous support is much needed, much appreciated and put to very good use. There is strength and we feel especially blessed when communities of people band together to help


Supporting ODB is Kid's Stuff
Over the last week ODB was lucky to be supported by our next generation of philanthropists. Last week Ryan Rewkowski, age 9 (pictured here), with the help of his mom, Julie dropped off a huge haul of food and drinks. Ryan was motivated to collect food and raise and donate money to help those in need in the community. OUR DAILY BREAD CHRISTMAS DINNER GIVEAWAY SERVES 104 BASKETS
On Monday 12/19/22 ODB sponsored its annual Christmas Dinner Giveaway. In all we distributed 104 baskets that included a ham, all the sides and a bag of toiletries for good measure. Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped us put the baskets together and distribute them to our guests. ODB Receives a $2500 Gift from Church and Dwight Employee Giving Fund
We were pleased to receive funding again this year from the Church and Dwight Employee Giving Fund. Church and Dwight manufactures a variety of household and personal care products. Their Employee Giving Fund was established to help support charitable organizations in the communities in which their employees live. ODB Receives $2500 Award from Del-One Foundation
ODB was pleased to be one of the 20 or so Delaware nonprofits to receive funding this year from the Del-One Foundation. The Del-One Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Del-One Federal Credit Union. The Foundation, which is coordinated by Del-One employees, raises money each year from a variety of staff activities and makes awards annually to worthy causes throughout Delaware. ODB was pleased to receive this very generous award this year.


Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway a Big Success
On Friday November 18th ODB did its annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway. This was our biggest one yet thanks to the support of dozens of friends who provided the sides for one or more dinners.
