UPCOMING Events

Our Daily Bread has been invited to share the profits from a performance of the musical Compassion Street. The musical is about homelessness: people who are physically homeless on streets and in shelters and people who are emotionally homeless in their houses.

The musical was composed in 2021 by Fr. Paul Mast following a six-month sabbatical encountering hundreds of homeless people in eight different cities. He kept a journal which he turned into a book in 2014. During the COVID quarantine he reread the book and was inspired to write 17 songs which were set to music by a colleague. The show has been performed six times in Kent and New Castle Counties. The goal of the musical is to change the hearts of audiences, encouraging them to engage the homeless as human beings first and restoring human dignity.

The Everett Theater is making their venue available for this fundraiser on Sunday June 22, 2025, at 4:00pm. It lasts two and a half hours including a 15-minute intermission.
