Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway a Big Success

On Friday November 18th ODB did its annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway. This was our biggest one yet thanks to the support of dozens of friends who provided the sides for one or more dinners. The Food Bank provided 100 turkeys for the giveaway. In all 102 families picked up meals Many thanks to all the donors and all the volunteers who came to help us organize and distribute the meals. Special thanks to the Food Bank for being such a great partner, to Pete Zarzycki for picking up the turkeys and hauling them over to ODB, and Jan Faust who planned and coordinated the entire event. We are so pleased we were able to make sure so many of our neighbors had a happy Thanksgiving.
