It really does take a village . . .

It really does take a village to support the Our Daily Bread Dining Room of MOT, Inc. And, the Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend area does not disappoint. From Thanksgiving through the New Year, Our Daily Bread has been blessed with many donations from various groups in the MOT area. ODB is most thankful for all of these donations that fill our shelves and allow us to feed those in need a nutritional meal in a safe environment. Thank you so much to the MOT community for all of the donations to Our Daily Bread.

** Carrie Daniels & missionaries from her church collected and donated items to include in the Thanksgiving baskets given to our guests.

** St. Anne's Episcopal Church donated the leftovers from their Thanksgiving Community Dinner to Our Daily Bread which enabled ODB to serve a Thanksgiving meal to our guests on December 3rd.

** Cub Scout Pack 204 created placemats for use at the Thanksgiving Dinner on December 3rd.

** New Covenant Church collected and donated a bag of hats, scarves, mittens for inclusion in the Christmas Gift Bags prepared and given to our guests.

** Giant Foods donated over 60 pies to ODB in late November.

** St. Andrews School donates on a continuing basis lots of fresh produce from their gardens. Our guests love the extra fresh produce that they can prepare themselves.

** Kim Bryda of The Little Caboose Child Care and Learning Center organized a canned food drive and donated the proceeds to ODB.

** The Giant and ACME Grocery Stores in Middletown to benefit from their reusable grocery bag program. ODB received a $1 donation from each reusable bag sold.

** Cathy Esherich of Pat's Pizza donated 20 turkeys and bags of fixings for the side dishes. Pat's also donates pizza and salad on a monthly basis.

** NAPA Delaware dropped off a large donation of toys / books, hats, gloves, scarves, toiletries, canned food items. These items will be included in our Christmas Gift Bags given to our guests.

** The Middletown Police Department held a canned food drive and donated the collected food to ODB. Chief Kracylor, Sgt. Saunders, Robin James, and two other officers dropped off the donation on Friday, December 20. MPD officers served a meal during 2019 and plan to do so again in 2020.

** MOT Charter High School TRI-M Honor Society, led by Rachel Hoke collected and made a huge donation of canned goods along with a $300 gift card.

** Delaware Integrative Healthcare donated several bags of can goods and non-perishable food items on December 20.

** Two Stones Pub will be donating 25% of sales from all Sunday brunches in December to Our Daily Bread.

** Appo Lacrosse Team is donating blankets for our guests and serving the Christmas meal on December 24 at Lunch
