Empowering Hearts and Filling Pantries: A Month of Giving at Everett Meredith Middle School
Over the past month, the compassionate members of the Everett Meredith Middle School National Junior Honor Society have undertaken a remarkable initiative to support Our Daily Bread. Their dedication and generosity have resulted in the collection of over 1,400 essential items, significantly contributing to the replenishment of Our Daily Bread's pantry. This collective effort is truly commendable, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each participant, as well as their food drive leader, Media Specialist Patty Brown. Great job!
For those inspired to join this benevolent cause, you can make a difference by contributing to Our Daily Bread. Donations are accepted every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30. If this timeframe is inconvenient, rest assured that donations are also welcome during our dinner service, held from 5 to 6, Monday through Friday.
The impact of your contribution extends beyond traditional food items. In addition to canned, jarred, and boxed food, we also have a pressing need for gallon plastic storage bags, large black garbage bags (33 gallons or larger), paper towels, fresh fruit, and white bread. These items are crucial to supporting the diverse needs of Our Daily Bread's recipients.
Your support plays a vital role in creating a positive ripple effect within our community. Together, let's continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. If you have the means and the will to give, we welcome you to be a part of this ongoing mission to uplift and nourish our community.
Thank you for being a beacon of hope and compassion.
